After the Lightning Storm

I have been delinquent on the writing recently but did come to terms last night with not changing my plot drastically which would basically have meant putting off writing the 1st draft until I'd finished fixing the outline. A few smaller tinkerings and I think the plot will do as is. Basically, the idea is that while the main character is fighting the physical removal of her people, the two primary minor characters stories are the product of a cultural assault (the missionary schools in which native american children were forceably placed). This last piece is not historically accurate since my story is set before the schools were set up but I think it will work nevertheless...it works for the theme of the book.
